Save Money by Making Your Own Facial Masks

by Janice_Raizel

Facial MaskHave you ever calculated how much money you have spent for beauty purposes in a month or a year? $200? $500? or maybe $1000 or more? Maybe it's time for you to stop wasting your money.

Here are a few all natural homemade facial mask recipes, which you can easily prepare within minutes. The best part about it is it won’t cost much!

* Normal, combination skin, oily and blemished skin

Mix one egg white, 1/2 cup cooked instant oatmeal, a teaspoon olive oil and a few drops of lemon juice until smooth. Spread on your face and neck, leave on for 15 – 30 min then rinse with lukewarm water. A few drops of lemon juice will help to reduce blackheads while egg white will leave Lemonyour skin feeling “tight” after this mask application.

* Dry skin

Mix one egg yolk, a teaspoon of honey and a teaspoon of olive oil and some vitamin E oil. Spread over your face and neck, leave on for 15 – 30 min then rinse in lukewarm water. You can add more olive oil if your skin still feels dry.

* Dry and spotted skin

Mix dry oatmeal (you may grind it in a blender), honey and plain yogurt to make a paste. Spread it over your face and neck, leave on 15 – 30 min then rinse with lukewarm water. You may add a little salt and olive oil to make an exfoliating mask or scrub for blotchy dry skin areas.
