EDITORIAL ==================================================== February 26, 2008 Greetings from the Tidbits Front! February is almost over and we managed to get out the second newsletter. This newsletter thing is still very new and we haven’t found our groove as yet. Hang in there; we’re like a fine wine, we only get better over time. What would you do if you woke up one day and the internet was no longer in existence? I was in a forum the other day and someone posted that question. After reading it I stopped and stared at it for a while…had a slight brain seizure which caused momentary paralysis. There are some things that are just too painful to think about. I didn’t want to process the thought. I am learning to give up negative thoughts for positive ones (Philippians 4:8), and that thought was a bit much for me to handle. Once my brain unsiezed, I responded, “What a horrible question.” At that point I thought about how my life would change. The fact that I earn all of my income through the internet could give you a hint. I guess its time to diversify. Stop for a moment and think, what would YOU do if the internet were suddenly gone? Not only would you be deprived of reading this newsletter, you probably wouldn’t be able to multi-task on your job. You know, get the proposal done while chatting with your friends on MSN, or crunch advertising numbers while pre-holiday shopping on Amazon…you get the idea. Thought I’d give you a little bit to think about when you wake up in the wee hours of the morning and your mind is totally blank. Best Regards, Felicia A. Williams Chief Cook and Bottle Washer of Tidbitsandstuff.com P.S - Please feel free to share this newsletter with your friends and family. ==================================================== 2. TIDBITSANDSTUFF.COM – TOP 5 PIKS ==================================================== Here are my top 5 piks for February (amazing, they’re all written by...yours truly). A Trans Fats: The conscientious shopper reads labels to make sure they select trans fat free products. The label has a big fat 0 next to the trans fat grams. You’re okay right? Well...er, not really.
