Entrepreneurship

EntrepreneurWith today’s economy, it behooves us all to become entrepreneurs. Whether we dabble with an at-home money making venture or go whole hog and create a new company, we have to become more resourceful when it comes to our financial future.  Think for a moment. How many unemployed or underemployed people do you know?

Job fairs are over crowded, want ads are not plentiful enough, salary isn’t quite at the level of your previous job and your bills keep coming in month after month.  Those of us who still have jobs are spending days at jobs that are understaffed for the amount of work expected to be done.

The picture may sound bleak, but it’s really not.  The rather dim picture provides the necessary backdrop to get many of us off of our duffs to try something new.  If the picture is truly bleak, what do you have to lose?

It’s All About Choices

We have a choice of commiserating, complaining and remaining broke, or we can do some thing about it. The Entrepreneur section of Tidbits and Stuff offers tidbits, tips, advice and motivation on finding other ways to earn additional money.

As an accidental entrepreneur, I understand the fear, trepidation and feeling of being overwhelmed when it comes to leaving the 9-5 job. I write about my personal journey at my No Job for Mom blog.

I don’t have all the answers so I tend to link to other sites and resources which may help you in your journey. It doesn’t make a difference if you are a newbie or a seasoned veteran in the field of entrepreneurship, there’s always something new to learn. You just have to be willing to take the chance to learn it.
